Foundation stone-laying ceremony of the markets in Hidasnémeti, Encs and Gagyvendégi

In the cross-border micro-region Cserehát, 5 new marketplaces will be established thanks to the implementation of the Meet the Local Needs project. Three of them will be built on the Hungarian side in Hidasnémeti, Encs and Gagyvendégi and two on the Slovak side in Buzica and in Moldava nad Bodvou.

The construction phase of the marketplaces built on the Hungarian side of the cross-border region was ceremoniously opened on 23 July 2020 by laying the foundation stone for the marketplaces in Hidasnémeti, Encs and Gagyvendégi. The event took place in Gagyvendégi, where the president of the Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén region, Bánné Dr. Gál Boglárka, symbolically opened the construction stage by laying the foundation stone of the markets, together with the partners of the Meet the Local Needs project – Lead Partner of the project and representative of Szép Cserehát Nonprofit Szociális Szövetkezet – Dsupin János, Mayor of Hidasnémeti – Becse Csaba, Mayor of Encs – Mikola Gergely, Mayor of Buzica – Jozef Mohňanský, Mayor of Moldava nad Bodvou – Dr. Slavomír Borovský; Director of the Via Carpatia European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation Dr. Julianna Orbán Máté and the dean of the parish of Encs, Pacsai János.
